Ride, jog or walk along the St. Clair River Trail. Enjoy 35 km of scenic views and stop for a riverside picnic at one of the many municipal parks. No picnic basket? Try our local "Mr. Chip" french fry truck parked riverside just north of Corunna.

Visitors are welcome!


Check out the greens at the St. Clair Parkway Golf Course in Mooretown - a 5 minute drive from here.


Their brand new Clubhouse opened in April 2025 and The Parkway Bar and Grill features a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu during the golf season! Open 8 am - 8 pm every day.

Fish



Try your luck at any of the numerous parks along the St. Clair River. Two public boat launches are 5 min from us! We can accommodate a boat trailer or two in our parking lot. Click "more" to contact Bluewater Anglers for fishing info. Licenses are available in Corunna at Service Ontario, 379 Lyndoch Street.


If the fishing doesn't work out, you can still try local catch - ask Gen 7 Fuel for fresh pickerel to take home!

Discover



Immerse yourself in local history as you travel through 12 historic buildings at the Moore Museum, which is located 4 km north in Mooretown.


11 km to the south of us, you'll find the Sombra Museum which features The Marine Room, The Bury Home (Victorian), and a log cabin.

Your "Cheers to the Coast Trail" map will take you on Lambton County's finest taste trail. There are 16 locations to choose from. Enjoy micro-brews, hand-crafted wine, dry and hard cider as well as honey mead.

Track



Did you know lake freighters, ocean vessels, cruise ships and sail boats drift by daily on the St. Clair River?


If you're lucky, you just might spot the longest vessel on the Great Lakes - lake freighter, Paul R. Tregurtha. It measures 309 m (or 1,013 ft) long!

Are you an early riser?


See a sunrise or sunset on the river as you kayak downstream.


We can bring you and the kayaks to a nearby launch point upstream. It's up to you to decide whether you're up to the task of paddling upstream or float quietly downstream to the Frog Point Inn dock.

"Do the Blue" and navigate your way to Frog Point Inn. There are 2 free boat launches within 5 minutes of Frog Point Inn: Mooretown Boat Launch and Willow Park Boat Launch.


Also, we are happy to provide you with complimentary boat trailer parking overnight.


Stay tuned... Frog Point Inn will soon offer an overnight boat tie-up on the dock!

Looking for small town charm?


Corunna, 10 minutes to the north, was almost named the capital of Canada in 1823 due to its scenic vistas and its proximity to a major waterway. In town you'll find all the sundries you need.


Petrolia, a half hour east, is "Canada's Victorian Oil Town" where oil was first discovered in 1857. It is home to several shops and "Victoria Hall", a National Historic Site of Canada, where performing arts take place regularly.

Ferry



Have passport, will travel...

Extend your horizons and plan a day stateside in Algonac, Marine City or St. Clair, Michigan, each located along the river.


To get to the ferry, take a 30-minute drive south along the river to Walpole Island, home of Walpole Island First Nation community. The 12-car Walpole-Algonac Ferry ride is a scenic 7-minute float to Algonac on the U.S. side.


Regular Canada-U.S. border crossing regulations are in effect.

The annual Brigden Fair has been a time-honoured tradition since 1850! During Thanksgiving weekend you'll see the "best in show" for livestock, crops, quilts, baked goods, preserves, photography and more.


Watch the action-packed tractor pulls, demolition derbies, and lumberjack show. Go for a whirl on the ferris wheel or test your luck at the midway...


The Brigden Fairgrounds also hosts other events throughout the year such as the Country Campout Jamboree and the Ploughman's Party.
